The deep harbor provides very good conditions for handling general cargo, forest products, bulk cargo, project cargo and ro-ro traffic.
The oil harbor’s pier has a draft of 10.3 meters (34«05″). In addition to oils, asphalt and sulfuric acid are also handled.
In the harbor we have our own railway track with a carrying capacity of 22.5 tons and with a connection to the main railway.
The port of Härnösand is strategically located in Härnösand, in the middle of Sweden, with access to railway and European road for efficient transport of goods and cargo. The port is one of Sweden’s key ports for project logistics. In the harbor there is warehouses for both indoor and outdoor storage, mobile cranes with a lifting power of up to 300 tons. Here in the port, we can receive passenger ferries, wind power, ro/ro, oil, asphalt, sulphur, etc.
The port is owned since 2022 by Finnish Kuljetusliike Ville Silvasti Oy, which is Northern Europe’s leading supplier of project logistics services. Silvasti specializes in wind power projects and other demanding project logistics services.
Härnösands Hamn is a modern port in central Sweden that handles both cargo and passenger ferries. The port is centrally located in Härnösand and very good transport routes with both europa road and railway. In the harbor there is storage space both indoors and outdoors as well as substantial mobile cranes for easy loading and unloading.
